7 pm., a Thursday night reading in the General Classroom Building, 9th floor, in the Troy Moore Library. at 38 Peachtree Center Ave, in downtown Atlanta. It is free. No admission fee. There is parking across the street.

Reading at Austin Peay University in Clarksville, TN - March 4th
Thursday, March 4th, a talk, "The Mystery of Friendship: Rumi and Shams," booksigning afterward. 3:30 pm, a panel with faculty members. 5 pm Reception. All events are free. More details as available.
Participation in a Hub Reece panel at the Appalachian Studies Conference in Dahlonega, GA. - March 19th
1:45 - 3 pm - Panel, "A Strong and Lonely Voice: Celebrating Byron Herbert Reece." Convener and panelist, Jim Clark, Barton College. Hugh Ruppersburg, Philip Lee Williams, and Coleman Barks from the University of Georgia. Alan Jackson and Tyrie Smith from Georgia Perimeter College. appalachianstudies.org The conference goes from Friday, March 19th until Sunday, March 23rd at North Georgia College and State University in Dahlonega, GA.

Reading at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco - April 15th
This Thursday night reading is sponsored by CIIS. Musicians Glen Velez (world percussion) and David Darling (cello) will be there, as will Zuleikha (storydancer), and Yungchen Llamo (Tibetan singer). More details as they become available.
"The Path of the Heart" Poetry Festival in Logan, OH - April 23rd
Alan Cohen's Power of Poetry grassroots organization in the small town of Logan, OH is putting on this two day event FOR FREE. Coleman Barks, Lisa Starr (Poet Laureate of Rhode Island), and David Darling (cello and Music for People) will be involved. Begins Friday, April 23rd at 7:30 pm with a program of poetry with musical accompaniment at the Izaac Walton League Lodge on Lake Logan. Piano and flute music will be performed by Evie Adelman, David Darling, Carolyn Leick, and Lazlo Slomovits.
Saturday, April 24th, a writing and music workshop will be held at the Izaak Walton League Lodge, from 10 am until noon.
New poetry with musical accompaniment at 7:30 pm at the Izaac Walton League Lodge on Lake Logan. Music will begin at 7 pm.
